Cozy Pine: A Hidden Gem Speakeasy in Irvine, CA

What a delightful surprise in Irvine of all places. I hadn't been to Bacchus in probably 12 years or so, but it's always held a special place in my heart for being where I made some of my best friends ever. It was wonderful to learn that they branched out into cocktails more and had their own speakeasy. Exactly as named, it's a cozy little experience where you are secluded away from the wine bar while still being in the middle of it. Aside from the well curated and thoughtful cocktail and nibbles menu (which is themed to the setting with things like s'mores as well a phenomenal tomato bisque), the most impressive thing is the sound design. You truly cannot hear any of the outside wine bar and you can almost trick yourself into thinking you're up at the cabin in Big Bear. Jenny helped us out and she is part of the whole experience as the consummate professional and host. She's smart, personable, and really takes care to make everyone feel welcome.

Cute and creative little space...and we mean little...cozy space to hang in. It is surprisingly the amount of people that fit in that tight small space. The atmosphere is fun and makes you get away from the normal oc vibe for a little. Drinks are creative and the food was good but over priced for the amount. Service was wonderful and well paced for us to enjoy our little get away! Definitely a place to go to if you're into different speakeasy themes!

This is the funnest little place. The ambiance is perfect, the food selection and "drinkie" choices both compliment the decor perfectly. The music fits perfectly. It's a place you visit once, but it is a must do! Our server was attentive and very helpful in her suggestions.

What a cute little speakeasy! It's pretty small and tight and hard to get a reservation, but even on a weekday night this place was packed! The service was phenomenal. The food was also really good, the skewers are a must. Some of the appetizers are overpriced for the portions they give, but delicious none the less. They have also have mocktail options available which is great if people in the group did not want to drink. Great wine selections as well.

Food was great I recommend the -Skewers -Corn dip -THE TOMATO SOUP! And we were well taken cared of by Eric and Kyler and made us great drinks and had good customer service.

Coziest bar of them all. Hidden inside an innocent-looking sliding door, is a spookily decorated (just briefly for Halloween), speakeasy! We loved the service, and the Apex Predator is definitely one of their star cocktails! Camp Anawanna is a really cool s'mores cocktail, but the bourbon came on too strong for some friends. Overall, such a vibe, but also very popular and with limited seating. I'd highly suggest it if you want to go out on a weeknight :)

Came here with some girlfriend and was very surprised how small this speakeasy is! Cute decor, and a clever way to "squeeze" it into a wine bar! Service was good, but the menu was tiny, and the portions were very smaller! Definitely do NOT come here hungry
